This Fall, the Office of ExEd and the Center for Instructional Excellence (CIE) will team to provide a professional development series designed to support instructors and staff in integrating or enhancing Experiential Education (ExEd) components into their course design. The upcoming series consists of three sessions throughout the semester, dates to be determined by the interest surveys collected.

Series Goals
- Deepen understanding of ExEd through its three core components: Authentic Experience, Planned Pedagogy, and Reflection.
- Provide practical strategies for course design and/or improvement.
- Foster a community of practice for ongoing collaboration and support.
- Grow the community of instructors providing ExEd opportunities.
- Explore ways to build and scale ExEd in Indianapolis.
Structure
- Total Sessions: 3 workshops (1 per ExEd component)
- Duration: 90 minutes per session
- Format: Interactive workshops with breakout discussions, case studies, application and reflection
- Completion Certificate: Awarded to participants who attend all sessions and complete a short program reflection and an implementation plan
